The brief

Sandsgaard works on the assumption that design is accountable. A brand system, a landing page or an onboarding flow exists to move a number, and the work is judged on whether it did.

That has meant identity and web for crypto and fintech, product interfaces for health and payments companies, packaging and campaign work for consumer brands, and a long tail of ad creative that has to earn its click. Clients have included Ripple, Adobe, Samsung, Blizzard, Autodesk and Meta's Libra project.

By the studio's own accounting, work shipped here has helped clients raise more than $150 million.
